And Finally: Shelly Boyce describes an experience that acts as a warning to other parents about the reality of informed consent and parental rights when it comes to pediatric healthcare. Her son, Judah, was diagnosed with cancer in 2024 and followed standard protocol by undergoing chemotherapy treatment while also incorporating dietary, lifestyle and other supportive therapies. Shelly and her husband shared this information with the medical professionals, who filed a referral with Child Protective Services (CPS).
