About the reports:

‘The Progress toward measles elimination – worldwide, 2000–2024 includes the latest global and regional estimates on measles cases and deaths and progress towards global measles elimination targets outlined in the Immunization Agenda 2030 and the Measles and Rubella Strategic Framework 2021–2030.  The estimates will be published in the Weekly Epidemiological Record (WER) on Friday, 28 November 2025.

‘The Immunization Agenda 2030 Mid-term Review will also be published at the same time, highlighting progress towards global immunization targets, including measles elimination. The IA2030 decade runs from 2021 to 2030; 2025, therefore, represents a critical mid-point to take stock of progress and identify necessary shifts for the rest of the decade.’
