Within a week of her booster (3rd dose of covid vax), Nana Oleta was admitted to the hospital following a “cardiac event” where she then received remdesivir.
Before the shots, she was able to take care of her daily needs and had no pre-existing health conditions. After the shots and remdesivir in the hospital, Nana Oleta was oxygen dependent with symptoms of congestive heart failure at rest, edema, chest pain, and shortness of breath.
“When she made it home, she lived about seven days and then passed away,” says Kelly, Nana Oleta’s granddaughter.
