Welcome back for another edition of “An Informed Life Radio” with Bernadette Pajer on CHD.TV! At this point in the year, we’re deep into the holiday season during which many people become apathetic about their wellbeing and get caught up in the hustle and bustle. But rather than falling victim to bad habits, take the time to learn how to better yourself so that you can enjoy more family get-togethers in an optimal state of fitness! Tuning in to this week’s program is a great place to start.
First…While performing this technique, small needles are inserted into points on the body for the treatment of health conditions, mitigation of stress and support of the nervous system. Known as “acupuncture,” this ancient practice has roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and continues to be a tool used by medical professionals to this day. As has been revealed through modern science, we are just beginning to scratch the surface of discovery into its mechanisms of action. Learn more from Michael Gaeta, DAOM, M.S. — today, on the first hour of the show.
Plus…Many people view coercion and deception as commonplace in the medical industry. But while this paid-for propaganda may now be the accepted “norm,” there is still room for reform. The question then becomes, at the state level, how can we make our communities healthy again? Hosts provide their thoughts on this matter throughout today’s second hour.
