What is DIPG?

Stephanie Locricchio hosts this edition of “Good Morning CHD.” The first segment provides an inside look at CHD’s health freedom efforts and how viewers can get involved. Topics include the upcoming release of a new documentary concerning parental consent legislation.

Stephanie then interviews Dean and Wendy Fachon about navigating the healthcare system alongside their son, Neil, who, at the age of 19, was diagnosed with DIPG, a cancer of the brainstem. Given three months to live, instead of giving in to the terminal diagnosis, Neil and his parents pursued a variety of medical interventions and soon found themselves not only fighting the disease but the medical system as well. Hear details of this heartbreaking story and how it ended from Neil’s parents on CHD.TV.
