Ben Edwards, M.D. has been on the ground, caring for people of all ages in West Texas who have been devastated by the effects of a measles outbreak. These cases have received national attention, mainly a result of the death of an unvaccinated child. But the media isn’t being entirely truthful or reporting all the details. That’s why Dr. Edwards is on CHD.TV — to separate fact from fiction and explain what is really taking place in Seminole and the surrounding area.
And he is joined by Tina Siemens, “The Bridge,” who has made it her mission to create connections between people and resources. She got involved in the Gaines Country measles outbreak and has been a vital support on the ground in getting affected people the care they desire. She appears on CHD.TV to share critical updates on the Mennonite community’s response to and recovery from the devastating resulting from this illness.
