First, Brian Hooker, Ph.D. gives viewers his perspective on recent MAHA-related news, such as the hearing with former CDC director, Susan Monarez, as well as changes to the immunization schedule made by ACIP. Plus, there is an important announcement that will be made later today concerning research into the causes of autism that you will want to know about.
Then, for updates on the culling efforts at a Canadian ostrich farm, tune in to the opening segment of today’s show! Kate Pasitney and Connie Shields provide brief context and share new information on developments pertaining to the situation.
Lastly, ""Age is just a number; it’s all about your health” — Sarah Kenoyer was considered to be at an advanced maternal age and her husband had gotten a vasectomy, yet they desired to bring another child into the world. And after four months, their prayers had been answered. They saw this pregnancy and birth as an opportunity to do things differently than all the times before, and it paid off. About a year ago, a healthy baby boy was added to the Kenoyer family. Find out more about this experience, and hear Sarah’s advice for current and future moms, in this edition of “Mothers2B."
