How GMOs Impact Health

Conventional crops are just one example of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), which means that the foods you find on grocery store shelves fall under this category — whether they are processed or not. Despite the health problems associated with changes to the DNA of plants as well as the chemicals used on them, they have become the norm in agriculture, keeping consumers in the dark when it comes to the products they purchase and consume. Michelle Perro, M.D. returns to “Pediatric Perspectives” to explain how GMOs work and share her concerns about environmental toxins. Tune in!
