Exposing the Childhood Schedule
Just a few years ago, people and animals received a handful of vaccines. While these injections still came with risks, they were few and far between in terms of their sheer volume in comparison to what is administered and recommended today. In 2024, the CDC published an updated schedule for children 0-18. Can you guess how many doses were included?
This United States-based government agency is composed of various committees which meet regularly to discuss formulations and quantities, timelines and clinical guidance. They vote on immunization recommendations and offer opportunities for public comment. To watch these consequential meetings on CHD.TV, head over to our Events page. And to learn more about the process and procedure, conflicts and other relevant information pertaining to regulatory bodies and the decisions they make, tune in to today’s “Good Morning CHD” episode!
