And we're going to be 00:00:45 - 00:00:48 bringing on Sarah Doe, the high school student who 00:00:48 - 00:00:51 was denied her medical exemption in New York. Children's 00:00:51 - 00:00:54 Health Defense fought and got her back in school. We're going to be 00:00:54 - 00:00:57 talking to her about what the year back to school that just 00:00:57 - 00:01:01 passed was like for her, and what advice she has for 00:01:01 - 00:01:04 others in the same situation as her going to 00:01:04 - 00:01:07 school. Then my colleague Stephanie Lucrecio is going to be speaking 00:01:07 - 00:01:10 to us about 00:01:10 - 00:01:13 EMR induced syndrome. In the toolkit, we deal with informed consent, 00:01:43 - 00:01:46 vaccination. Uh, what are the exemption 00:01:46 - 00:01:49 policies in your state? What exemptions are available to you and 00:01:49 - 00:01:53 not, um, we deal with issues surrounding food 00:01:53 - 00:01:56 issue issues that are surrounding health centers and 00:01:56 - 00:02:00 informed consent, signing of paperwork, and much more. Uh, this is a great 00:02:16 - 00:02:19 toolkit for you to look into. And here's a perfect 00:02:19 - 00:02:22 example. Um, uh, as to why, uh, you 00:02:22 - 00:02:25 need to be concerned about things, these things in New York State 00:02:25 - 00:02:28 before going to school, summer camp is getting 00:02:28 - 00:02:32 ready to ban all unvaccinated kids. Right now in New York, there 00:02:32 - 00:02:35 is a bill on Governor Hochul's desk that would ban all 00:02:35 - 00:02:38 unvaccinated kids from all summer camps. It would make it the 00:02:38 - 00:02:41 first nation in the country to have such a 00:02:41 - 00:02:45 draconian ban. Uh, we have 00:02:45 - 00:02:48 an action we're promoting actually at Autism Action Network, um, 00:02:48 - 00:02:52 our sister organization telling Hochul, don't sign 00:02:52 - 00:02:55 this. Don't sign this bill as you're running for 00:02:55 - 00:02:58 reelection to continue to be the governor 00:02:58 - 00:03:01 of New York State. Um, here's another, uh, 00:03:01 - 00:03:05 action that we just launched, not just in New 00:03:05 - 00:03:08 York, but nationally. Uh, we want to protect 00:03:08 - 00:03:11 the, uh, bio, uh, 00:03:11 - 00:03:14 metric information of children 00:03:14 - 00:03:18 athletes. There are schools, school districts, and states 00:03:18 - 00:03:21 that are requiring biometric 00:03:21 - 00:03:24 data to be harvested from children for 00:03:24 - 00:03:28 them to play flag football, for them to be involved in 00:03:28 - 00:03:31 normal extracurricular activities. There's 00:03:31 - 00:03:34 actually federal legislation that makes this 00:03:34 - 00:03:38 illegal. So that action is also in the show notes very, very important 00:03:38 - 00:03:41 too. I, man, I got to do a show to, to go 00:04:09 - 00:04:12 over that, uh, again, where they were trying to steal our DNA 00:04:12 - 00:04:15 information from Covid test samples. 00:04:15 - 00:04:19 That was totally legal in, in New York City, um, for a 00:04:19 - 00:04:22 short period of time. Um, okay. So 00:04:22 - 00:04:25 with that, uh, we are ready to kick off 00:04:25 - 00:04:29 back to school here at CHD TV and bring on my 00:04:29 - 00:04:32 two guests. We have, um, a student 00:04:32 - 00:04:35 at Oceanside High School, Sarah Doe, as well as her 00:04:35 - 00:04:39 attorney, Sujata Gibson. Welcome to 00:04:39 - 00:04:42 CHD TV. Thanks for joining me this morning. Thanks for 00:04:42 - 00:04:43 having us, Michael. 00:04:45 - 00:04:48 Good to see you, Sarah. Very, very, very good to see you. So, 00:04:48 - 00:04:51 Sarah, we have to go through a little bit for our audience, what 00:04:51 - 00:04:54 your situation was, what happened to 00:04:54 - 00:04:58 you. And it actually happened starting in 2019 when you were 00:04:58 - 00:05:01 11 years old, you had a religious exemption to vaccination, 00:05:01 - 00:05:05 but New York State repealed the religious exemption, and your 00:05:05 - 00:05:08 parents were left with the stark decision of following 00:05:08 - 00:05:11 their faith or allowing you to continue public 00:05:11 - 00:05:14 school where you were a star athlete, where you wanted to 00:05:14 - 00:05:17 stay, and they put you on a catch up 00:05:17 - 00:05:21 schedule of getting multiple vaccines 00:05:21 - 00:05:24 within just a few months. Um, and that 00:05:24 - 00:05:27 led to injuries that you had. You were in school 00:05:27 - 00:05:30 because you were fully vaccinated at that point 00:05:31 - 00:05:34 up until around 10th grade, when another 00:05:34 - 00:05:37 shot was required for you due to them not 00:05:37 - 00:05:41 accepting your titers and a bunch of technical things 00:05:41 - 00:05:44 that happened, and you were kicked out 00:05:44 - 00:05:47 of school for a period of 00:05:47 - 00:05:50 time where you weren't allowed in. Um, 00:05:50 - 00:05:54 please tell us what that was like. What was it like for you to have been in 00:05:54 - 00:05:57 school your whole life and then to be told, no, you 00:05:57 - 00:06:00 can't come into school essentially over one 00:06:00 - 00:06:04 vaccine? Um, it felt like something was getting ripped away 00:06:04 - 00:06:07 from me, and I didn't know how important it was for a 00:06:07 - 00:06:11 child to go through school until it was taken 00:06:11 - 00:06:14 away. And all of my interests and everything I loved just got 00:06:14 - 00:06:17 ripped away. I wasn't able to do it as much and I just felt 00:06:17 - 00:06:20 hopeless. Um, I laid in my bed most of the day 00:06:21 - 00:06:24 just thinking why? Like, I was just lost 00:06:25 - 00:06:28 and I didn't really know what to do. You know, 00:06:28 - 00:06:32 I'm actually getting the chills hearing you say this. I 00:06:32 - 00:06:35 remember that period of time. I remember being on the phone with your 00:06:35 - 00:06:38 attorney, Sujata Gibson, and talking about these things and hearing 00:06:38 - 00:06:42 about what a tough time it was. Thank God, 00:06:42 - 00:06:46 a year ago, almost to the day, almost to the month. 00:06:46 - 00:06:49 A year ago, you were in federal court fighting for 00:06:49 - 00:06:52 your rights, and a judge ordered you to 00:06:52 - 00:06:55 return to school. It was a major victory, uh, in 00:06:55 - 00:06:59 federal court in New York, you 00:06:59 - 00:07:02 were allowed to go back to school. Um, there you are in front of 00:07:02 - 00:07:05 the courthouse, having won, nearly 300 people 00:07:05 - 00:07:09 came to the courthouse in support of you at 00:07:09 - 00:07:12 that time. Um, and you did 00:07:12 - 00:07:16 get back into school. That was your junior 00:07:16 - 00:07:19 year. Last year, you made it into school. 00:07:19 - 00:07:22 You completed an entire year of school. Uh, how was 00:07:22 - 00:07:26 it? How did it go? It was definitely amazing. Like just 00:07:26 - 00:07:29 being able to speak to other kids. It was 00:07:29 - 00:07:32 definitely hard because other people didn't understand my 00:07:32 - 00:07:35 story as much as like my close friends and people 00:07:35 - 00:07:39 in my life. But it was definitely hard, like 00:07:39 - 00:07:42 getting back into the routine of going to school every single day, 00:07:42 - 00:07:45 waking up at the same time. But it was so worth it. It 00:07:45 - 00:07:48 was everything I needed, and it just felt so like 00:07:48 - 00:07:52 normal and just felt so good. And there's going to be 00:07:52 - 00:07:55 people out there that, like said, rumors about me, but it 00:07:55 - 00:07:58 didn't matter because I had like my close friends that 00:07:58 - 00:08:02 supported me. So it was very nice. Well, yeah. So 00:08:02 - 00:08:05 let's talk about that a little bit. That's true. Um, I saw a lot 00:08:05 - 00:08:08 of support for you, uh, all throughout Long Island. 00:08:09 - 00:08:12 Uh, I saw support for you in your community. I saw a lot of people 00:08:12 - 00:08:15 coming out. Uh, news media came and covered you very 00:08:15 - 00:08:18 favorably, did a very, you know, so all of those things were 00:08:18 - 00:08:22 nice. Um, but I bet that wasn't all of it right there was, like 00:08:22 - 00:08:25 you said, there were probably some people who had had a, uh, 00:08:26 - 00:08:29 a different view and a different outlook, but overall, you felt 00:08:29 - 00:08:32 supported and you felt it was good in the year. Oh, that's 00:08:32 - 00:08:35 definitely it was the best year ever, actually. Best year 00:08:35 - 00:08:39 ever. So, so that's so great to hear. So hearing 00:08:39 - 00:08:42 it was your best year ever. Um, what advice 00:08:42 - 00:08:46 would you have for kids in similar situations out 00:08:46 - 00:08:49 there that are facing what you're facing have an exemption. Don't know if 00:08:49 - 00:08:52 they're going back. What advice would you give to kids that are in the same 00:08:52 - 00:08:56 spot you were in? You're going to want to lose 00:08:56 - 00:08:59 hope and you're going to want to give up. But you have to realize there are other 00:08:59 - 00:09:02 people out there just like you going through the same thing as 00:09:02 - 00:09:06 you, not knowing what to do. But you have to 00:09:06 - 00:09:09 realize that you're not alone and you're not different. And 00:09:09 - 00:09:12 don't let people bring you down if they don't know your full story. 00:09:13 - 00:09:16 Wow, wow. That's excellent. That is really, 00:09:16 - 00:09:19 really amazing. Uh, you know, with that, I'm going to bring in 00:09:19 - 00:09:23 your attorney, uh, Sujata Gibson, who's been with 00:09:23 - 00:09:26 you, uh, on this road. Sujata. I remember 00:09:27 - 00:09:30 maybe a year and a half ago being in a courtroom 00:09:30 - 00:09:33 with you in Long Island where it was just Sarah 00:09:33 - 00:09:37 and her family, me and you, and having a really bad 00:09:37 - 00:09:40 outcome and how horrible that felt. Uh, and 00:09:40 - 00:09:43 then just a few months later, 300 people 00:09:43 - 00:09:46 and Sarah winning. Uh, and just what an 00:09:46 - 00:09:49 amazing time that was. But this isn't over. 00:09:50 - 00:09:53 Sarah just did one year, her junior year. 00:09:53 - 00:09:56 She now is facing her senior year. 00:09:56 - 00:10:00 And there is still a process she has to go through. Could you talk 00:10:00 - 00:10:03 a little bit about that? Sure. Well, I mean, 00:10:03 - 00:10:06 the bottom line is the medical exemption process in New York is 00:10:06 - 00:10:09 fundamentally broken. The law states that if any 00:10:09 - 00:10:12 physician certifies that a child needs to be exempt, 00:10:13 - 00:10:16 uh, for safety issues, then they're supposed to be exempt. 00:10:16 - 00:10:19 But the Department of Health under, uh, especially under Governor 00:10:19 - 00:10:23 Hochul has has taken it upon themselves to, 00:10:23 - 00:10:26 uh, you know, advise schools to put, have school 00:10:26 - 00:10:29 principals and others kind of override doctors 00:10:29 - 00:10:32 decisions. And then we have this 00:10:32 - 00:10:35 mess where people have to litigate in federal court for 00:10:35 - 00:10:39 years, because every single year you need a new 00:10:39 - 00:10:42 medical exemption. So we got a preliminary 00:10:42 - 00:10:46 injunction for Sarah for last year. But, you know, now we're going to have to 00:10:46 - 00:10:49 face next year. Um, so 00:10:50 - 00:10:53 I will say though, that part of what we're doing and part of 00:10:53 - 00:10:56 why CHD, uh, is jumping in, aside 00:10:56 - 00:11:00 from the fact that this is a horrible situation that families 00:11:00 - 00:11:03 in New York are facing, is that we're doing impact 00:11:03 - 00:11:06 litigation to try to change the process 00:11:06 - 00:11:09 because no family has the resources to 00:11:09 - 00:11:13 litigate in federal court for years just to have their child go 00:11:13 - 00:11:14 to school. Um, 00:11:16 - 00:11:19 but in Sarah's case, you know, we made very important precedent. 00:11:19 - 00:11:23 We have seven doctors saying she needed this 00:11:23 - 00:11:26 exemption. The school still overrode her. And I think the 00:11:26 - 00:11:28 court did the right thing by by 00:11:28 - 00:11:32 acknowledging our argument that this is a violation likely 00:11:32 - 00:11:35 of the Americans with Disabilities Act. So up 00:11:35 - 00:11:39 until now, courts have just up until then, courts were 00:11:39 - 00:11:42 often just saying, well, is there any rational reason why it 00:11:42 - 00:11:46 could be denied? We're not going to really look at the whether the 00:11:46 - 00:11:49 child needs the exemption or not. If the school gives us any 00:11:49 - 00:11:52 reason that's rational on its face, will let them exclude this 00:11:52 - 00:11:56 child under the Americans with Disabilities Act, 00:11:56 - 00:11:59 that's a much different standard. The burden goes on to the 00:11:59 - 00:12:02 school, um, to accept, 00:12:02 - 00:12:05 uh, medical exemptions unless there's some 00:12:05 - 00:12:09 really, um, persuasive argument 00:12:09 - 00:12:12 that they, that they cannot and that a disabled child doesn't need 00:12:12 - 00:12:15 it. So it's a big deal. So Sujata, I 00:12:16 - 00:12:19 let's talk specifically about Sarah's case here. 00:12:19 - 00:12:22 She was missing one hep B 00:12:23 - 00:12:26 shot. And hep B, if you're 00:12:26 - 00:12:29 infected with hep B in the state of New York, it 00:12:29 - 00:12:32 is illegal to kick someone with an active hep B 00:12:32 - 00:12:35 infection out of school. But because she 00:12:35 - 00:12:39 was missing one vaccine for an 00:12:39 - 00:12:42 illness, you must be allowed in school to have. They 00:12:42 - 00:12:45 still kicked her out. So her case is unique in 00:12:45 - 00:12:48 a certain sense. Um, in that the facts that 00:12:49 - 00:12:52 I think even the media that that hated us and 00:12:52 - 00:12:55 wanted Sarah kicked out of school when at the time had to 00:12:55 - 00:12:58 admit, well, it does, it does look like it's 00:12:58 - 00:13:01 not rational, uh, to kick this child out. Why don't you 00:13:01 - 00:13:04 talk about that and about these, uh, insane 00:13:04 - 00:13:07 standards that we have in New York, 00:13:08 - 00:13:11 right? Well, yeah, I mean, this case just highlights how bad it's 00:13:11 - 00:13:14 gotten in New York. When you have one vaccine 00:13:14 - 00:13:18 that is missing that seven doctors say is 00:13:18 - 00:13:21 not safe for this child. In fact, Sarah even went to a walk 00:13:21 - 00:13:24 in clinic at one point. So she was so desperate to return to 00:13:24 - 00:13:28 school that she went without her mother, uh, to 00:13:28 - 00:13:31 try to get them to vaccinate her without telling them her medical 00:13:31 - 00:13:34 history. Um, and even the walk in clinic 00:13:34 - 00:13:38 took one look at her without having her history and 00:13:38 - 00:13:41 said, no, this is unsafe. You're ineligible. They wrote it, 00:13:41 - 00:13:45 you know, and we gave it to the school. That she's ineligible in 00:13:45 - 00:13:47 this case is so clear cut. And yet 00:13:48 - 00:13:51 even then, the school district and the Department of Health 00:13:51 - 00:13:55 assert that they should be able to deny an exemption. Uh, 00:13:55 - 00:13:58 it really is shocking. And it's only, 00:13:58 - 00:14:02 um, you know, what we were saying then is it's only a matter of time 00:14:02 - 00:14:05 before someone gets hurt. Well, I'm now bringing 00:14:05 - 00:14:08 a case of someone who was in Sarah's exact position, 00:14:09 - 00:14:12 um, who had multiple doctors and specialists certifying she needed 00:14:12 - 00:14:16 an exemption. She had an exemption since preschool, 00:14:16 - 00:14:20 and she didn't have a lawyer when she was kicked out. And 00:14:20 - 00:14:22 like Sarah, she got really depressed and she even got 00:14:23 - 00:14:26 suicidal. And she got vaccinated against medical 00:14:26 - 00:14:29 advice and now has permanent injuries that are never going 00:14:29 - 00:14:32 to, you know, she she's permanently injured for life. This is so 00:14:32 - 00:14:35 reckless. What's happening in New York. Yeah. Yeah. 00:14:36 - 00:14:39 It it entirely is. Um, they are claiming 00:14:39 - 00:14:42 this is for a greater good. They're claiming this 00:14:42 - 00:14:46 is for public health and seem to have 00:14:46 - 00:14:49 no problem if a child's future 00:14:49 - 00:14:52 and, and healthy existence is sacrificed. 00:14:52 - 00:14:55 Um, in the process, I mean, thankfully in 00:14:55 - 00:14:59 Sourdoughs case and some others, we have been breaking 00:14:59 - 00:15:02 through, you know, even with the, uh, education for 00:15:02 - 00:15:05 All act, which we are pushing in Albany, 00:15:05 - 00:15:08 everybody we speak to up there when we talk about medically fragile 00:15:08 - 00:15:11 children must access school. They must have these exemptions. 00:15:12 - 00:15:15 Nobody argues us. I mean, everybody, the 00:15:15 - 00:15:18 even the staunchest pro vaccine supporters in Albany 00:15:18 - 00:15:22 do not argue this. So it's one of these things where we just 00:15:22 - 00:15:25 need to keep pushing and we need momentum, um, to push 00:15:25 - 00:15:29 this and to get this going. Being that you're talking about others as well 00:15:29 - 00:15:32 too, Sujata. People who are watching now, especially in New York, but there 00:15:32 - 00:15:36 are other states, California, Connecticut, Maine are 00:15:36 - 00:15:39 the, you know, the four bandits where, where they've made medical 00:15:39 - 00:15:42 exemptions almost sacrilege. Um, what, um, 00:15:42 - 00:15:46 what can people do? Let's start with New York. What would you recommend somebody 00:15:46 - 00:15:49 do if they're in this situation? Now, if their child needs a medical 00:15:49 - 00:15:52 exemption or has a long standing one that was just 00:15:52 - 00:15:55 revoked, well, you are going to need a 00:15:55 - 00:15:58 new in New York. You're going to need a New York state licensed 00:15:58 - 00:16:01 physician, uh, to write an exemption. 00:16:01 - 00:16:05 And honestly, at this point, it's helpful if you can consult 00:16:05 - 00:16:08 with a lawyer who does this kind of work. I do this kind of work and do 00:16:08 - 00:16:11 consultations. I know there are others. I would, uh. Christina 00:16:11 - 00:16:13 Martinez um, does this kind of work. 00:16:14 - 00:16:17 Um, and it's helpful because 00:16:17 - 00:16:20 unfortunately, they've gotten very legalistic. Now there is a battle 00:16:20 - 00:16:24 though. The second circuit recently issued yet another decision 00:16:24 - 00:16:27 saying that their understanding is that the 00:16:27 - 00:16:30 state and the schools have no power to second guess these 00:16:30 - 00:16:33 medical exemptions. So, you know, there 00:16:33 - 00:16:37 are legal battles to be fought here that 00:16:37 - 00:16:40 that potentially have a lot of success. The Supreme Court also just 00:16:40 - 00:16:43 issued a case, uh, that I think strongly 00:16:43 - 00:16:46 supports that parents must have the final say under the 00:16:46 - 00:16:49 Constitution. Um, but 00:16:49 - 00:16:53 you asked a question and I'm kind of telling you the legal theories, 00:16:53 - 00:16:56 basically, you know, it's helpful to have a lawyer and I hate that that's true. But 00:16:56 - 00:17:00 it is. And it's cheaper to have them on the front end consulting with you than 00:17:00 - 00:17:03 it is fighting it once it's denied, uh, because 00:17:03 - 00:17:06 there's language that needs to go in there, very specific language that 00:17:06 - 00:17:09 doctors don't know about and families don't know about. 00:17:10 - 00:17:13 Yeah, we, we have done workshops in the past where we've had, 00:17:13 - 00:17:17 um, hundreds of people come on. Uh, but 00:17:17 - 00:17:20 you and I just talking, we don't, we don't even know how, how 00:17:20 - 00:17:23 valuable that is now, because these have all become so 00:17:23 - 00:17:26 individualized. If somebody else might be right for you, that would be in the state of New York, in 00:17:40 - 00:17:44 California, Connecticut, and Maine. Uh, we will do the absolute 00:17:44 - 00:17:46 best that we can in the other states. It should be 00:17:46 - 00:17:49 relatively easy. Um, as long as you 00:17:49 - 00:17:52 have a doctor and you go through what the process is in your 00:17:52 - 00:17:55 state for applying for a medical 00:17:55 - 00:17:59 exemption, you should not be facing this uphill 00:17:59 - 00:18:02 pushing a boulder to federal court, uh, 00:18:03 - 00:18:06 situation and scenario like we are facing, 00:18:06 - 00:18:10 um, in, in New York. You brought up one thing 00:18:10 - 00:18:13 I did not know. You said there was a recent second circuit 00:18:13 - 00:18:16 decision, uh, that reaffirms that 00:18:16 - 00:18:19 the schools can't second guess the doctor. 00:18:20 - 00:18:23 When did this happen? I didn't hear about this. This is the same 00:18:23 - 00:18:26 Miller v McDonald case that is about religion, that 00:18:26 - 00:18:30 has been in the headlines. And for those of you who aren't familiar, you know, 00:18:30 - 00:18:33 there's a real battleground happening in New York right now, 00:18:33 - 00:18:37 not only about the medical exemption, but also about the religious 00:18:37 - 00:18:40 exemption. And nationwide. It's part of a bigger 00:18:40 - 00:18:43 question. The Supreme Court has started to weigh in on about 00:18:43 - 00:18:47 parental rights. And so, uh, the 00:18:47 - 00:18:50 Second Circuit denied dismissed a case 00:18:50 - 00:18:53 involving religious exemptions, but it's really tied 00:18:53 - 00:18:56 up with the medical. And the reason that they dismissed 00:18:56 - 00:19:00 that case is they said there's no evidence that there's any 00:19:00 - 00:19:02 discretion to to accept or deny 00:19:03 - 00:19:06 medical exemptions. So, you know, that's 00:19:06 - 00:19:10 a very, uh, it's a complicated legal theory, but basically 00:19:10 - 00:19:13 their, uh, their language in that case is very helpful to us in the medical 00:19:13 - 00:19:16 exemption fight. That's wild. I mean, 00:19:16 - 00:19:19 to say there's no discretion with medical 00:19:19 - 00:19:23 exemptions in New York is like saying the sky is 00:19:23 - 00:19:26 pink. I mean, it's, it's it's insane. There's nothing but 00:19:26 - 00:19:29 discretion. I mean, they, they go over these things with a fine 00:19:29 - 00:19:33 tooth comb. They overturn doctors. They have their own 00:19:33 - 00:19:36 doctors who have never met the children 00:19:36 - 00:19:39 ever once saying, no, the doctor who did meet 00:19:39 - 00:19:42 them, who is working directly with them, is wrong. 00:19:42 - 00:19:45 How can they possibly say there's no evidence of 00:19:45 - 00:19:49 discretion in Sara's case and in some of the 00:19:49 - 00:19:52 other cases we're bringing? And and I'm so thankful for Sara and others for 00:19:52 - 00:19:55 being so brave to stand up like this. It just illustrates 00:19:55 - 00:19:59 perfectly the information that was missing in the second circuit about 00:19:59 - 00:20:02 the discretion. So it's really good, not just for the medical 00:20:02 - 00:20:05 exemption, but also the religious, because in Sara's 00:20:05 - 00:20:08 case, she was accepted. One medical exemption was 00:20:08 - 00:20:11 accepted. Her mother went to the neighboring school district, 00:20:11 - 00:20:15 doctor begged him to see her daughter. He said, I don't 00:20:15 - 00:20:18 give medical exemptions. But then he saw 00:20:19 - 00:20:22 Sara and was like, yeah, this child needs a 00:20:22 - 00:20:25 medical exemption. And so they gave her a three 00:20:25 - 00:20:29 month medical exemption. And when she went back to get 00:20:29 - 00:20:32 a renewal, because the way that the school district was doing it was they 00:20:32 - 00:20:35 wanted it every three months. Um, he said he was 00:20:35 - 00:20:39 scared he was going to get in trouble, but she still needed it. And so 00:20:39 - 00:20:42 he referred her to his partner in the practice who wrote an 00:20:42 - 00:20:45 identical medical exemption. And that was 00:20:45 - 00:20:48 denied. So now we have a school district accepting 00:20:48 - 00:20:52 one and denying another. And they're identical. So you can't say 00:20:52 - 00:20:55 there's no discretion, there's no objective standard. They're clearly just 00:20:55 - 00:20:58 doing whatever they want. One of the things that's so 00:20:58 - 00:21:02 fascinating to me, and tragic in the Sara dot 00:21:02 - 00:21:05 case is, um, I've always suspected this. We've 00:21:05 - 00:21:09 always discussed this in our community, but this was the 00:21:09 - 00:21:11 first time there was irrefutable evidence and proof that 00:21:11 - 00:21:15 denial of religious liberty led 00:21:15 - 00:21:18 to physical injury led to a physical 00:21:18 - 00:21:21 injury of a child. So a child that had a religious exemption, 00:21:21 - 00:21:24 the parents had this for religious reasons, that 00:21:24 - 00:21:28 religious exemption, unbeknownst perhaps 00:21:28 - 00:21:31 to everybody, was protecting that child 00:21:31 - 00:21:34 physically because that child couldn't handle those 00:21:34 - 00:21:38 vaccines. Um, sometimes we know this, sometimes we 00:21:38 - 00:21:41 don't know until you try. Um, and I find that to be 00:21:41 - 00:21:45 fascinating and frightening, that the denial of religious 00:21:45 - 00:21:48 liberty can actually lead to children 00:21:48 - 00:21:51 being harmed and killed in some 00:21:51 - 00:21:54 instances. So this broader battle that you're talking 00:21:54 - 00:21:58 about now about bringing back the religious exemption, 00:21:58 - 00:22:01 uh, I think is really important, uh, in New York 00:22:01 - 00:22:05 nationally. And let's, let's end off on that just a little bit. 00:22:05 - 00:22:08 Um, we also have the Grace act. Uh, the Grace act is 00:22:08 - 00:22:11 legislation, national legislation by Greg Stubby out of Florida, 00:22:12 - 00:22:15 which would essentially protect the religious 00:22:15 - 00:22:18 exemption in all 50 states. Uh, and it does so 00:22:18 - 00:22:21 through a funding mechanism and such. Um, 00:22:21 - 00:22:24 but, uh, a lot of Greg Stewart is pretty conservative 00:22:24 - 00:22:27 libertarian guy, you know, knows what he thinks and 00:22:27 - 00:22:31 hard to like, hard to sway him in any direction. But now 00:22:31 - 00:22:34 we're getting, uh, much more middle of the road 00:22:34 - 00:22:37 Republicans coming onto this bill as well, too. We 00:22:37 - 00:22:41 have three New York representatives that are now 00:22:41 - 00:22:44 co-sponsors Nick Langworthy, Nick Lalota, 00:22:44 - 00:22:47 and Mike Lawler, uh, and especially Mike 00:22:47 - 00:22:50 Lawler and Nick Lalota. These are not hardcore 00:22:50 - 00:22:54 conservatives at all. These are people who conservatives 00:22:54 - 00:22:57 criticize for being, you know, rhinos or for working with the other 00:22:57 - 00:23:00 side of the aisle. So even in Congress, 00:23:00 - 00:23:04 we're seeing a shift. We're seeing a change as we're 00:23:04 - 00:23:07 seeing Miller v MacDonald appearing 00:23:07 - 00:23:10 to be ready to get taken up by the Supreme 00:23:10 - 00:23:14 Court. Um, so as you said, Miller v MacDonald 00:23:14 - 00:23:17 dealing deals with the Amish in New York who are denied, 00:23:18 - 00:23:21 uh, the right to a religious 00:23:21 - 00:23:24 exemption or to make their own rules in their own schools, right. That they don't 00:23:24 - 00:23:27 require vaccination in their own private schools. 00:23:27 - 00:23:30 Um, the, the Supreme Court gave the second 00:23:30 - 00:23:34 circuit a chance to correct their bad decision. And 00:23:34 - 00:23:37 the Second Circuit has not. Right. Just recently, the Second Circuit essentially 00:23:37 - 00:23:41 said, no, we got this right. Um, a lot of people I'm 00:23:41 - 00:23:44 talking to believe that means the Supreme Court's going to take this up 00:23:44 - 00:23:48 come the next session, which starts in October. Uh, 00:23:48 - 00:23:51 you as an attorney and complete and total expert in 00:23:51 - 00:23:54 this field, what is your opinion about the fate of Miller V 00:23:54 - 00:23:58 MacDonald coming up in the next go to session? Well, 00:23:58 - 00:24:01 there's some real, uh, weaknesses there that I think, you know, 00:24:01 - 00:24:05 if the Supreme Court does take the case, I, 00:24:05 - 00:24:08 I don't I disagree, uh, with the 00:24:08 - 00:24:11 circuit judges that, that they got the right 00:24:11 - 00:24:15 decision. I mean, the Supreme Court has been very, very clear that this 00:24:15 - 00:24:18 sort of, uh, that religious rights for parents 00:24:18 - 00:24:21 is not this narrow thing that only applies to curriculum 00:24:21 - 00:24:25 decisions or, you know, very narrow categories, which is what the 00:24:25 - 00:24:28 court based their second decision on. It's a broad 00:24:28 - 00:24:31 protection and it applies, uh, you 00:24:31 - 00:24:34 know, across the board to parental 00:24:34 - 00:24:38 decisions, uh, about the religious upbringing of their 00:24:38 - 00:24:40 children whenever they are infringed. So 00:24:41 - 00:24:44 I agree, you know, even like public health scholars like 00:24:44 - 00:24:47 Gostin, who is very much, 00:24:47 - 00:24:48 um, 00:24:50 - 00:24:53 very much a supporter of vaccine mandates, even 00:24:53 - 00:24:56 Gostin said they'll likely overturn the second circuit. 00:24:56 - 00:25:00 So I think if they the question is, will they take it up? They don't take up a 00:25:00 - 00:25:03 lot of cases. But they did take this one last time, 00:25:03 - 00:25:06 right. Decision. Um, you know, doesn't really do 00:25:06 - 00:25:09 what what they asked the second circuit to do. They didn't really assess it 00:25:09 - 00:25:13 under Mahmud and Mirabelli, the way that they were asked to do. And 00:25:13 - 00:25:17 we'll have to see. Um, I think we're just 00:25:17 - 00:25:20 about out of time now. Sarah, thank you so 00:25:20 - 00:25:22 much for coming on. Stephanie Lucrecio here with another 00:26:21 - 00:26:24 MMR and wireless update. Today we are 00:26:24 - 00:26:28 talking about hope, healing and resilience after MMR 00:26:28 - 00:26:31 syndrome. And joining us is Mana Washio. She's a health 00:26:31 - 00:26:34 coach and MMR expert and a cancer survivor. We're so 00:26:34 - 00:26:37 happy to have you here today. Mana, thank you so much for being here. 00:26:38 - 00:26:41 Thank you so much for having me. It's such a pleasure. I 00:26:41 - 00:26:45 looked at your website, so many things that I was so 00:26:45 - 00:26:48 excited to see, like the work that you're doing and how you're using your own 00:26:48 - 00:26:51 personal experiences to help other people. So 00:26:51 - 00:26:55 for many of our viewers, they don't know your story. So tell us a little bit 00:26:55 - 00:26:58 about how in 2013, MMR 00:26:58 - 00:27:01 syndrome changed your life. Yes. So, um, I 00:27:01 - 00:27:05 was actually a performing musician and I was, um, you 00:27:05 - 00:27:08 know, performing at concert halls and teaching flute students 00:27:08 - 00:27:12 and sending some students to conservatories. I was a 00:27:12 - 00:27:15 very serious flute teacher also. Um, but 00:27:15 - 00:27:18 it changed overnight. Um, when we were on 00:27:18 - 00:27:22 vacation at the time, the company's name 00:27:22 - 00:27:25 was Enstar. Now it's called Eversource, but they installed smart 00:27:25 - 00:27:28 meters on our apartment building. And overnight I 00:27:28 - 00:27:32 got sensitized. So our bedroom was sandwiched by two 00:27:32 - 00:27:35 bank of smart meters on both sides. We actually had two 00:27:35 - 00:27:39 circuit breaker, um, down in the basement. We 00:27:39 - 00:27:42 are sleeping on the first floor, and there was a transformer 00:27:42 - 00:27:46 outside of the window. And we had wifi router in our bedroom 00:27:46 - 00:27:49 without knowing its harm. And it was a perfect 00:27:49 - 00:27:52 storm basically. So I got sensitized overnight. I started 00:27:52 - 00:27:56 having piercing headache as if somebody was inserting ice pick into 00:27:56 - 00:27:59 my brain. And every time I came home that, 00:27:59 - 00:28:03 you know, symptoms are worse. And every time I went outside of 00:28:03 - 00:28:06 my house, symptoms are better. So that's how I 00:28:06 - 00:28:10 got sensitized. And I tried many things. And, you 00:28:10 - 00:28:12 know, I tried to stay with, with my 00:28:13 - 00:28:16 occupation for about five years, but then there was 00:28:16 - 00:28:19 a time that, you know, cell phones 00:28:19 - 00:28:22 signals are getting stronger every year. And it was so 00:28:22 - 00:28:26 hard for me to even sit in my student's recital 00:28:26 - 00:28:29 without having chest pain, you know, so I 00:28:29 - 00:28:32 had to change my career. And here I am. I more 00:28:32 - 00:28:36 board certified health coach now, but also like went 00:28:36 - 00:28:39 through cancer journey myself. So I'm now helping other 00:28:39 - 00:28:42 people get better with the knowledge and 00:28:42 - 00:28:46 experience I gained over the years. So how did you 00:28:46 - 00:28:49 make the connection that the smart meter and the 00:28:49 - 00:28:52 Wi-Fi exposure and, you know, all the cell phone exposure 00:28:52 - 00:28:54 was causing your symptoms? 00:28:59 - 00:29:00 Mona, did you freeze? 00:29:03 - 00:29:06 Okay. All right. So we'll we'll just wait for her to come back. 00:29:06 - 00:29:10 Um, yeah. So for those of you that are watching, if you go on 00:29:10 - 00:29:13 to Mana's website, you can see that 00:29:13 - 00:29:17 she has really taken what she's gone through. And I love to see this 00:29:17 - 00:29:20 because for so many people, when you're going through something, it can 00:29:20 - 00:29:23 be so hard to come out the other end and figure out how to put 00:29:23 - 00:29:26 together the pieces of your life and then use the experiences that 00:29:26 - 00:29:30 you've had to be able to help other people. So we've had 00:29:30 - 00:29:33 so many stories of people that are suffering with 00:29:33 - 00:29:37 EMR syndrome and how devastating it's been to their life. 00:29:37 - 00:29:40 People have had to move out of their homes, evacuate, you know, 00:29:40 - 00:29:43 their households that they've built over decades and lived for their entire 00:29:43 - 00:29:47 lives, raised their families. So it's a very real thing. And my 00:29:47 - 00:29:50 goal is always to really humanize these stories so that people 00:29:50 - 00:29:53 understand because like vaccine injury, we've seen 00:29:53 - 00:29:56 over the years that so many people are being 00:29:56 - 00:30:00 dismissed and just gaslit when they're talking about these symptoms. 00:30:00 - 00:30:03 And unfortunately, physicians really aren't familiar 00:30:03 - 00:30:06 with what EMR syndrome is. And so 00:30:06 - 00:30:10 many physicians are just very dismissive when these folks come in 00:30:10 - 00:30:13 to try to get help. So the goal with 704, no more 00:30:13 - 00:30:16 stop 5G and CHD EMR program is to really bring 00:30:16 - 00:30:20 awareness to what's going on with EMR exposure 00:30:20 - 00:30:23 and how it's impacting people. We have mana back. Hi. We lost you. 00:30:24 - 00:30:27 Thank you. Okay. Don't worry. So I was saying, 00:30:27 - 00:30:31 how did you make that connection between the fact that it 00:30:31 - 00:30:34 was those, the symptoms that you were having were related to the smart 00:30:34 - 00:30:37 meter? Did you discover that the meter had been changed? 00:30:37 - 00:30:40 Yep, definitely. And, um, and also standing 00:30:40 - 00:30:44 outside right in front of those bank of smart meters, I was 00:30:44 - 00:30:47 having such bad headache. And the closer I got, the more 00:30:47 - 00:30:50 headache I had. And also at the traffic light, you know, 00:30:50 - 00:30:54 they have these boxes, you know, that that has smart 00:30:54 - 00:30:57 meter mounted on. And every time I stop at the traffic light, when 00:30:57 - 00:31:00 I was driving, I was hitting, you know, I was hit by 00:31:00 - 00:31:04 this, um, you know, wave. So I knew because 00:31:04 - 00:31:07 of the direction and I looked and there was a smart meter. And 00:31:07 - 00:31:11 when I'm walking in my neighborhood, as soon as I pass 00:31:11 - 00:31:14 by somebody's house, there was smart meter and I was like, oh, 00:31:14 - 00:31:17 you know, like, so every time it was, you know, 00:31:17 - 00:31:21 whenever, whenever I had that, you know, very, um, 00:31:21 - 00:31:25 you know, uh, really similar type of pain was 00:31:25 - 00:31:28 whenever I was walking by smart meters. Yeah. And 00:31:28 - 00:31:32 for people that don't realize it, you know, these smart meters are, they can be 00:31:32 - 00:31:35 electric, they could be water, they could be your gas meter. And in many 00:31:35 - 00:31:38 cases, these utility companies are just coming to your home, 00:31:38 - 00:31:41 oftentimes without you even realizing it and swapping out 00:31:41 - 00:31:44 these meters so that they can cut their own personal 00:31:44 - 00:31:48 workforce. As far as having actual humans come out 00:31:48 - 00:31:51 to read your meter, they're able to do it from a distance 00:31:51 - 00:31:55 at their own facilities. So you had no idea that they were doing 00:31:55 - 00:31:58 this. That's right. So, you know, like sometimes, but 00:31:58 - 00:32:01 I actually relocated to many different places because 00:32:01 - 00:32:05 of this condition. I had to find low EMF home and 00:32:05 - 00:32:07 finally purchased a home that's really quite low. 00:32:08 - 00:32:11 But now they are deploying again in my 00:32:11 - 00:32:15 town. I live in Springfield, Massachusetts, but and they are 00:32:15 - 00:32:18 pushing so hard. Like if people say no to it, then they are 00:32:18 - 00:32:21 threatening to shut off the water service, gas service or 00:32:21 - 00:32:25 electric service. Um, and it's, it's gotten 00:32:25 - 00:32:28 really bad. Some, you know, residents are really standing up and trying 00:32:28 - 00:32:31 to do something about it. So are you not an opt out state? 00:32:31 - 00:32:35 Because I know in certain states, just for people that are watching, if you are 00:32:35 - 00:32:38 facing a smart meter, in many states, you're able to opt out. Of course, 00:32:38 - 00:32:41 there's a cost monthly that you have to pay, but it's well worth not having that 00:32:41 - 00:32:45 exposure if that option is available in your state. Is that not 00:32:45 - 00:32:48 an option in Massachusetts? Well, it is an option. Like if 00:32:48 - 00:32:51 you pay $34 a month and also 00:32:51 - 00:32:54 illustration fee of $42. So like 00:32:55 - 00:32:58 per year, you are paying about $450 per 00:32:58 - 00:33:01 meter. And if you have gas meter, then it will be 00:33:01 - 00:33:04 $900. And if you have it for water meter, there's 00:33:04 - 00:33:07 another fee probably. Right. So like it's a significant 00:33:07 - 00:33:11 cost, you know, because all the utility 00:33:11 - 00:33:14 cost is going up. Plus, like I was really, uh, clear about 00:33:14 - 00:33:17 not wanting to have and wanted to keep the original meter, but they 00:33:17 - 00:33:21 just ignored it and they installed the meter in my 00:33:21 - 00:33:24 house. I was just standing in front of the meter 00:33:24 - 00:33:27 on the day of the deployment, and I even spoke with the 00:33:27 - 00:33:31 technician and the technician acknowledged and he 00:33:31 - 00:33:34 said, like, he will definitely report to that, you know, company and 00:33:34 - 00:33:37 your house is marked as new smart meter home. And I, 00:33:37 - 00:33:41 it actually happened, you know, shortly after we bought the house 00:33:41 - 00:33:44 at the end of 2023, we got a notice from 00:33:44 - 00:33:47 Eversource. Again, this was for gas. And they were basically doing the same 00:33:47 - 00:33:51 thing. And, you know, like even if I called them, they're like, oh, like 00:33:51 - 00:33:54 everybody has to have it, you know, eventually. So like, 00:33:54 - 00:33:58 um, and so they're really pushy and even though 00:33:58 - 00:34:01 people are opting out, I have some residents friends in 00:34:01 - 00:34:04 this area who keep talking about, you know, I really 00:34:04 - 00:34:08 want to keep my meter. And luckily in her, her meter 00:34:08 - 00:34:11 is in her backyard, so people can't really easily access 00:34:11 - 00:34:14 my meter was right in front of my garage. 00:34:14 - 00:34:17 So from the street pretty much everybody has access. So 00:34:17 - 00:34:21 that's how they did it. But um, yeah, so anyways, 00:34:21 - 00:34:24 so, um, and she has been harassed repeatedly, you 00:34:24 - 00:34:28 know, by phone calls. So she's receiving phone calls from Eversource 00:34:28 - 00:34:31 saying, oh, you know, like eventually, like your meter will 00:34:31 - 00:34:34 stop working. So you have to switch to this one and, 00:34:35 - 00:34:38 you know, really harassing her. So she's really fed up 00:34:38 - 00:34:41 with it. So that's what's happening. And also I 00:34:41 - 00:34:44 although like I told them, um, the water company that I 00:34:44 - 00:34:48 have this disability and cannot have the meter because 00:34:48 - 00:34:51 it will be in right under the central area of my 00:34:51 - 00:34:54 house, right under the living room. The water meter is. 00:34:54 - 00:34:58 So if they replace it with meter, the whole house will 00:34:58 - 00:35:01 be are in RF zone basically. And I cannot live in 00:35:01 - 00:35:04 that condition. And I told them and even after that they keep 00:35:04 - 00:35:08 putting that water shut off notice slip, you 00:35:08 - 00:35:11 know, like saying that if you don't change your meter or if you don't 00:35:11 - 00:35:14 let us access and you have this water shut off fee of 00:35:14 - 00:35:18 $55 or something, and they. Yeah. So like, 00:35:18 - 00:35:21 it's, it's, it's been really, you know, and, and I, 00:35:21 - 00:35:25 I'm, I was born and raised in Japan and I came from 00:35:25 - 00:35:28 Japan, but in Japan, you know, if people say, oh, I don't want 00:35:28 - 00:35:31 smart meter, then they don't, they acknowledge it and they don't bother 00:35:31 - 00:35:35 it. So like, it's mind boggling that how many times like I 00:35:35 - 00:35:38 get, you know, this kind of notification. So, 00:35:38 - 00:35:42 um, it's hard to understand sometimes, but I'm so sorry that 00:35:42 - 00:35:45 you're dealing with that. You know, we've heard so many people that have moved from one 00:35:45 - 00:35:48 location to the other and you're setting up a home and now you're dealing with the 00:35:48 - 00:35:51 same scenario unfolding once again. So I'm praying that you 00:35:51 - 00:35:55 can mitigate it and prevent the meter from being installed. 00:35:55 - 00:35:58 But tell me a little bit, because you've you've actually made a lot of 00:35:58 - 00:36:01 progress with your own personal health journey. Um, which has 00:36:01 - 00:36:05 been really encouraging to see because I know so many that suffer with EMR 00:36:05 - 00:36:08 syndrome have really a hard time figuring out 00:36:08 - 00:36:11 how to live in the normal that we live in with 00:36:11 - 00:36:14 technology being everywhere and the exposure being something 00:36:14 - 00:36:18 that's so high in many cases. So can you share a little bit about 00:36:18 - 00:36:21 what you've done to help mitigate the 00:36:21 - 00:36:24 exposure and to get your life back? Sure. Yeah. 00:36:25 - 00:36:28 First step is really to get the meter because it's making 00:36:28 - 00:36:31 invisible, visible. These, you know, signals are 00:36:31 - 00:36:35 people know that it's coming from your cell phone and Wi-Fi router, but 00:36:35 - 00:36:38 unless you actually have the meter in your hand, you have no idea how 00:36:38 - 00:36:41 much it's emitting. And if it's exposure is really high, 00:36:41 - 00:36:45 there's usually something you can do about it. Once you know there are 00:36:45 - 00:36:47 some products, um, shielding products sold from 00:36:48 - 00:36:51 emf.com, shield your body tech, wellness.com. And those 00:36:51 - 00:36:55 places sell like really great EMF mitigation products. 00:36:55 - 00:36:58 And sometimes even when you're in an apartment setting, there 00:36:58 - 00:37:01 are sleep canopy you can purchase. And you 00:37:01 - 00:37:05 know, so like there are many things, but first you really need to know the 00:37:05 - 00:37:08 exposure level because if you are, if you're not sure what's happening 00:37:08 - 00:37:12 in your living environment or sleeping environment, you are practically shooting 00:37:12 - 00:37:14 in the dark. And also you need to make your 00:37:15 - 00:37:18 body more resilient. And in my case, I actually, 00:37:18 - 00:37:21 um, sustained vaccine injury, serious vaccine injury prior 00:37:21 - 00:37:25 to this, um, incident that I got sensitized, I 00:37:25 - 00:37:28 was applying for a green card and I was forced to vaccinate, although 00:37:28 - 00:37:31 I told not to, you know, like I wore the hat, 00:37:31 - 00:37:35 MMR and other stuff in Japan. I don't want to have it. This 00:37:35 - 00:37:38 person said, oh, it doesn't matter. You can have them again. And boom, 00:37:38 - 00:37:41 boom, boom, boom, boom on the same day. So like I was 00:37:41 - 00:37:45 exposed a lot of heavy metals and chemicals, and I had 00:37:45 - 00:37:48 to do a lot of chelation therapy and use homeopathy 00:37:48 - 00:37:51 and, you know, so many different things, but, you know, chemical 00:37:51 - 00:37:55 heavy metal exposure or like mold toxicity. 00:37:55 - 00:37:58 Um, in my case, mold was also playing the role 00:37:58 - 00:38:01 because, um, in the basement, we lived in the basement, our 00:38:01 - 00:38:05 bedroom was on the first floor, but there were cracks on the floor 00:38:05 - 00:38:08 and, you know, spores were coming in. We didn't know that, but there was black 00:38:08 - 00:38:12 mold in the basement. And this wooden board that 00:38:12 - 00:38:15 was just sitting there was covered with black mold. So I 00:38:15 - 00:38:18 had to ask my landlord to remove it. And then 00:38:18 - 00:38:22 my tolerance went up also. And so there are many 00:38:22 - 00:38:25 factors, of course, like you really need to know, you know, 00:38:25 - 00:38:28 if you're eating the right kind of food for your body, 00:38:28 - 00:38:32 because if you're a nutrient deficient, you know, chemical 00:38:32 - 00:38:35 exposure, heavy metal exposure is one thing. But if you're deficient in 00:38:35 - 00:38:39 certain nutrients, then you are not resilient. Um, and also 00:38:39 - 00:38:42 there are ways to counteract, for example, I learned 00:38:42 - 00:38:45 Reiki and Reiki can counteract the effects 00:38:45 - 00:38:49 of EMF to a certain extent, but you of course have 00:38:49 - 00:38:52 to mitigate. Um, and, uh, yeah, so like there are 00:38:52 - 00:38:55 many ways and grounding helps because, you know, 00:38:55 - 00:38:59 like it's a, we are bombarded with energy. So the 00:38:59 - 00:39:02 best way to counteract is often energy. So 00:39:02 - 00:39:05 I, you know, speak with my clients all the time about the 00:39:05 - 00:39:09 importance of grounding and, you know, taking advantage 00:39:09 - 00:39:12 of energy medicine modalities. Reiki is only one of them. 00:39:12 - 00:39:15 There is qigong, acupuncture, and biomagnetic 00:39:15 - 00:39:18 bioenergetics. There are many of them, right? Like so many 00:39:18 - 00:39:21 modalities out there. So if they start tapping 00:39:21 - 00:39:25 into those things and also stress management is really the key. 00:39:25 - 00:39:29 And also safeguarding your sleep environment is the most 00:39:29 - 00:39:32 important part because our damaged cells are repaired only while 00:39:32 - 00:39:36 we sleep. So if you are, you know, sleep environment 00:39:36 - 00:39:39 is really high EMF environment, then 00:39:39 - 00:39:42 your body cannot recover. Because even if it's trying to 00:39:42 - 00:39:46 recover, it's always like, you know, the most 00:39:46 - 00:39:49 problematic aspects of EMF is, is 00:39:49 - 00:39:52 suppresses our immune systems and it promotes 00:39:52 - 00:39:55 inflammation. So I'm talking to cancer patients 00:39:55 - 00:39:58 daily. Um, and for coaching session, but people 00:39:58 - 00:40:01 often don't realize that what EMF is actually doing 00:40:01 - 00:40:05 to their body. So education really matters. And, and 00:40:05 - 00:40:08 also sometimes, um, you know, just people feel so 00:40:08 - 00:40:11 alone, um, because nobody else understands and, you 00:40:11 - 00:40:14 know, like my siblings, actually medical doctors in Japan and they were 00:40:14 - 00:40:18 completely poo pooing, you know, and they just thought I was having some 00:40:18 - 00:40:21 kind of mental illness or something. That's what they came up with. And they 00:40:21 - 00:40:23 even came up with the name of the mental illness. 00:40:25 - 00:40:28 But, you know, like at the time, there was not much information available. 00:40:28 - 00:40:31 Now, there are so many resources out there. Like if you 00:40:31 - 00:40:35 look online or, you know, there are organizations like CCE, 00:40:35 - 00:40:38 Ducette, um, Massachusetts for safe technology and 00:40:38 - 00:40:42 there are webinars happening, happening. So many more 00:40:42 - 00:40:45 are, are aware. And also many people started speaking up. So the 00:40:45 - 00:40:49 knowledge is growing. But at the time, like when I got sensitized, I 00:40:49 - 00:40:52 think Jeremy Johnson also, um, you know, got 00:40:52 - 00:40:55 sensitized around the same time too, but there was very little 00:40:55 - 00:40:58 information available. So I just felt very alone. 00:40:58 - 00:41:01 But the community is and social support is so very 00:41:01 - 00:41:05 important. Um, I'm a radical remission certified 00:41:05 - 00:41:08 health coach and one of the healing factors, you know, cancer 00:41:08 - 00:41:12 survivor did was, um, definitely social support. 00:41:12 - 00:41:15 So, um, yeah, so there are many, many, um, 00:41:15 - 00:41:18 you know, it's a multifaceted and it's really not just 00:41:18 - 00:41:22 that you do one thing and you get better, but you just need to look at the whole 00:41:22 - 00:41:25 physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, all different aspects 00:41:25 - 00:41:29 in order to get well, it sounds like the description 00:41:29 - 00:41:32 that you gave, it was like the perfect storm of everything happening all at one time. 00:41:32 - 00:41:36 So it really must have been quite a journey for you to unpack 00:41:36 - 00:41:39 all of it and to figure out how to move 00:41:39 - 00:41:42 forward. So for people that are listening that are just 00:41:42 - 00:41:45 getting this EMF diagnosis and EMR syndrome 00:41:45 - 00:41:49 diagnosis and are unsure what to do and feel hopeless because 00:41:49 - 00:41:52 like you said, a lot of practitioners don't understand or 00:41:52 - 00:41:55 recognize that this is even a real issue for 00:41:55 - 00:41:58 people. It's a real health concern. What would you tell 00:41:58 - 00:42:02 people to give them hope? And what would be the first few steps that you 00:42:02 - 00:42:05 would have them take? Because I know this issue can feel 00:42:05 - 00:42:09 very overwhelming because it's very much out of our control. You know, you can 00:42:09 - 00:42:12 control ultimately the food you put into your body, the modalities that you 00:42:12 - 00:42:15 choose, what you choose to bring into your house, pharmaceutical interventions 00:42:15 - 00:42:18 that you take. But in many cases, these smart 00:42:18 - 00:42:21 meters, these cell towers, all the exposure from the 00:42:21 - 00:42:25 collective phones that are out there, it's not something that we really 00:42:25 - 00:42:28 have personal control over. So what advice would you give to 00:42:28 - 00:42:32 people struggling right now? Yeah. So, um, I think, um, 00:42:32 - 00:42:35 you know, like, uh, website, like, um, cc duchenne's 00:42:35 - 00:42:38 website, um, messages is for safe technology 00:42:38 - 00:42:41 or, um, environmental health stress or Jeremy Johnson's 00:42:41 - 00:42:45 website, you know, all those places are really great place to 00:42:45 - 00:42:48 go. And, you know, but the first thing is really, you really need to 00:42:48 - 00:42:52 purchase a EMF meter. Um, there, there are two kinds of 00:42:52 - 00:42:55 layperson's meter, cornet meter and also trifield 00:42:55 - 00:42:58 meter, which is under $200. And, you know, um, of course 00:42:58 - 00:43:02 it doesn't measure dirty electricity, which is another component of 00:43:02 - 00:43:05 EMF, but still, like you can have a good idea of what's 00:43:05 - 00:43:08 happening where, um, and usually if 00:43:08 - 00:43:12 you find, you know, big source of EMF, 00:43:12 - 00:43:15 then you can do something about it, right? Like if it's a, 00:43:16 - 00:43:19 um, Wi-Fi router and depending on the severity of the 00:43:19 - 00:43:22 symptoms, some people are okay by just turning off, 00:43:22 - 00:43:26 you know, um, Wi-Fi router at night and they can sleep okay. 00:43:26 - 00:43:29 But other people are so much more sensitive, they actually have to hardwire 00:43:29 - 00:43:32 the internet. Right. And I, I have all like 00:43:32 - 00:43:35 hardwired internet set up for myself. That's why I 00:43:35 - 00:43:39 can work for many hours in front of my computer. But at first it 00:43:39 - 00:43:42 was impossible for me to use Zoom. Um, because 00:43:42 - 00:43:46 the camera from the zoom was giving me so much headache and eye pain, 00:43:46 - 00:43:49 I couldn't sit more than for more than two minutes in front of it. 00:43:49 - 00:43:52 Right. But now I'm working, um, with my clients 00:43:52 - 00:43:55 all over the US and abroad and using this 00:43:55 - 00:43:58 technology. And of course, I'm not saying no to 00:43:58 - 00:44:01 technology, but we are just advocating safe technology 00:44:01 - 00:44:04 usage. So, um, yeah, so finding the 00:44:04 - 00:44:08 culprit, you know, basically like where it's coming from, like how much 00:44:08 - 00:44:10 you're getting, especially when you're sleeping or 00:44:10 - 00:44:13 especially when you're working, if you're work 00:44:13 - 00:44:17 environment where you spend most of the time of the day or 00:44:17 - 00:44:20 while you are sleeping, you are getting a lot of EMF 00:44:20 - 00:44:23 exposure, then your, your body is not going to get better. You have to 00:44:23 - 00:44:27 do something about it. And there are so many experts out there now who 00:44:27 - 00:44:30 could help you guide through and navigate that journey so 00:44:30 - 00:44:33 that reducing exposure is number one. And also 00:44:33 - 00:44:37 you need to learn how to use your devices safely. Because 00:44:37 - 00:44:40 even text messages, you know, you can just turn on the airplane mode to 00:44:40 - 00:44:44 type the messages, hit send and disable the airplane mode. 00:44:44 - 00:44:47 And then all the outgoing messages go out and the incoming 00:44:47 - 00:44:50 messages come in. And if you can do that, then you can 00:44:50 - 00:44:53 significantly reduce the exposure. You might be so 00:44:53 - 00:44:56 surprised once you have the EMF meter in your hand, 00:44:56 - 00:45:00 you know, before and after you turn on airplane mode. Of course, 00:45:00 - 00:45:04 with the new iPhone, a little bit different story, but even if 00:45:04 - 00:45:07 it's emitting a little bit while it's on airplane mode, you can still 00:45:07 - 00:45:09 stick it into Faraday bag, which is 00:45:09 - 00:45:13 sold@tech.com. And then, you know, so 00:45:13 - 00:45:16 Faraday bag, it will completely stop that signal from coming in and 00:45:16 - 00:45:19 coming out. Um, so while you are not using it, you 00:45:19 - 00:45:23 can put it in front of the bag if it's still emitting at airplane 00:45:23 - 00:45:26 mode. Okay. So, um, yeah, so those are 00:45:26 - 00:45:29 the, so basically connect with, with people who 00:45:29 - 00:45:32 already went through the journey so that you can be most 00:45:32 - 00:45:36 efficient in navigating, you know, the path to healing. 00:45:36 - 00:45:39 Because I, I learned so much, but at the time, like there was nobody 00:45:39 - 00:45:43 else who was teaching this, you know, so now I can 00:45:43 - 00:45:46 teach people. I will say, when I first got it, I was 00:46:02 - 00:46:06 overwhelmed by the amounts of radiation in my environment. And 00:46:06 - 00:46:08 I'm still working on mitigating that. So I encourage 00:46:08 - 00:46:12 people to get it to use it. Like you said, in those 00:46:12 - 00:46:15 areas that you're sleeping in, spending a lot of time, and it's so important to 00:46:15 - 00:46:18 make sure that we're reducing the exposure as much as we can. 00:46:18 - 00:46:22 I'm so thankful that you came on the show today to 00:46:22 - 00:46:25 share your journey and to share all the wisdom that you've gathered 00:46:25 - 00:46:28 over the years of dealing with this, and that you're using this to help 00:46:29 - 00:46:32 other people.
