Attack on Religious Exemption to Vaccination in Massachusetts

Mary Holland joins us on Good Morning CHD to discuss the current Measles situation and CHD's position on the MMR Vaccine.

Then...Medical freedom is under attack in Massachusetts. Amendments outlined in Bill H.2554 would require schools to participate in annual immunization reporting, including taking note of those exempt in these records. And the Bay State is not the only one pushing for such legislative actions. Find out more about current and impending human rights threats on today’s episode of “Good Morning CHD.”

Following this segment, we hear from Misty Gehrke, who was injured as an adult from an MMR vaccination. Her story begins in 2019, when she was notified that she had been exposed to measles while working as an early childhood educator. Her choices were either to stay out of work without pay until the outbreak was considered to be over or get the shot. Because of her financial situation, news panic and state of emergency, Misty felt pressured into the latter. It was just days later that she began experiencing symptoms of an adverse reaction and now finds difficulty in completing simple, daily tasks. Until her disability case is resolved, Misty struggles to provide for her family and get the care she needs. Listen to her heart-wrenching story during the show.

And…Lauren’s unimaginable pain is real, but the medical professionals and people closest to her believe it is all in her head. The suffering has brought this young mother to the point of death — without hope of recovery or a normal life, but it is not the end of the story. And she is not alone. Hear Lauren’s heartbreaking testimony, and many more like it, on CHD.TV.
