Kari Bundy wanted to protect her son, Mason, from whooping cough because she was told that, were he to contract it, the little boy was not likely to survive. So Mason was vaccinated. It was just a few days after the shot when the baby was found, dead, in his crib — coming as a complete shock to the Bundy family and turning their world upside down. Today, on “Pediatric Perspectives,” viewers get a startling wake-up call about the true risk of diseases, like pertussis, when compared to the injections that claim to prevent them. Join Kari, Polly Tommey and Paul Thomas, M.D. (retired) for this timely discussion.
