



Two deaths in Pennsylvania, somehow associated with measles, sets a scene that is eerily similar to what happened in Texas months ago and many other states over the years. The vague details and deceptive claims about the virus, along with a push to vaccinate, are creating a sense of panic and blame among the public. Public health officials may be feeling responsible while parents are under a lot of pressure to comply with what they are told. But what do we actually know about the situation as well as the vaccine being touted as the saviour? Brian Hooker, Ph.D. and Polly Tommey discuss.
Then: A new documentary, called “The Widow’s Street,” is a continuation of an effort to expose the realities of wireless technology in society through visual storytelling. This film details the experience of a couple and their community whose lives changed drastically after the installation of a cell tower in their neighborhood. Miriam Eckenfels is joined by co-producers Christian Oesch and Klaus Scheidsteger for an introductory conversation on the movie, followed by an exclusive screening of “The Widow’s Street.”
