When Jeff and Sandy Bragg first became potato farmers, the agriculture industry looked much different than it does, today. And over the years, they observed the use and abuse of products that contributed to environmental damage and chronic disease rates. Then, Jeff was diagnosed with health issues, and the Braggs had to reconsider the way they grew and consumed food. Joining host of “Doctors & Scientists,” Brian Hooker, Ph.D., these spud experts explain the connection between regulatory agencies, industry and the past, present and future of farming practices — including dietary considerations, crop varieties, nutritional value, soil health and beyond. Let’s dig in!
