For those communities 00:00:47 who feel that they need a little more 00:00:48 support and particularly legal representation, 00:00:51 the Stop 5G Community Empowerment 00:00:53 Consulting Services offer exactly that. 00:00:57 So communities get legal representation, 00:00:59 through the McCullough law firm, 00:01:01 they get the opportunity to work with the amazing 00:01:03 Scott McCullough. 00:01:05 We essentially prepare communities 00:01:06 for public hearings. 00:01:08 We provide them with materials, 00:01:10 support, scripts, 00:01:12 guidance on how to organize and mobilize. 00:01:15 We prepare them for meetings with elected officials. 00:01:19 We show up at public hearings and give testimonies 00:01:22 we support them every step of the way. 00:01:27 The first step that communities have to go through is 00:01:29 to find out whether a cell tower is proposed in their 00:01:32 neighborhood, and step one 00:01:35 outlines how to do so. 00:01:37 As people move through step 2 to 10, they are 00:01:41 learning a lot about the substance of the issue, how 00:01:45 to educate their neighbors, how to show up at public 00:01:48 hearings, how to prepare arguments 00:01:50 that local officials can use 00:01:52 in order to legally deny a cell tower. 00:01:56 And they're also learning how to draft certain 00:01:59 documents. Within this 5G rollout the infrastructure so 00:02:03 the actual cell towers are moving closer and 00:02:06 closer to living spaces, so closer to 00:02:09 homes, closer to schools, closer to churches, 00:02:12 and there are a lot of reasons why communities oppose 00:02:16 having cell towers this close to their living space. 00:02:19 Some people are concerned about health effects, other people 00:02:22 are concerned about the property value impact, other people 00:02:26 are concerned about the impact on wildlife, 00:02:28 other people are concerned about the look 00:02:31 and feel that changes in the neighborhood 00:02:33 once a cell tower goes up. 00:02:34 All of those reasons are valid and all of those reasons 00:02:37 should motivate you to visit 00:02:39 the Stop5G.org website. In order to 00:02:41 stay up to date with all that we are doing, 00:02:44 follow us on social media, on 00:02:47 Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook. 00:02:51 You do have the power to fight back 00:02:53 against the proposed cell tower in your community 00:02:56 and the Stop5G initiative is here to support you.58:T481,Headaches, brain fog, dizziness, nausea — they all started out of nowhere.
