In smart cities, “every transaction, every place you move, everywhere you go, you are tracked, indexed, logged, identified, surveilled, profiled, and that information is stored, indexed, associated with you and others, and ultimately available through a database query,” detailed attorney W. Scott McCollough.
“All of these things that can capture video or audio or anything else; they’re all just used to siphon information that is then centralized, compiled, indexed, matched, and associated with you and other groups and then used for whatever purpose the government, and, of course, its corporate partners may have in mind for you. It is just another excuse for them to implement total information awareness and a surveillance state.”
