Prescribed Since 7

Danielle Gansky was prescribed ADHD stimulants at age seven after a school referral for mild inattentiveness. She developed adverse reactions, which led to a dangerous prescription cascade involving SSRIs, benzodiazepines and antipsychotics. Danielle’s attempt at tapering off the medications brought about years of physical disability, and now at 30 years old, she has made it her life’s mission to empower patients with knowledge so they can make truly informed decisions. Her dream is that reforms would be made so that no one else suffers the way she has.
