Sonya’s son, Hoyt, was hitting all his milestones as an infant. By his 15-month well-visit, however, he was showing signs of regression. At that point, Hoyt had already been administered various childhood immunizations, but Sonya’s expressed concerns about their role in her son’s developmental issues fell on deaf ears. And when she decided to stop vaccinating her child, she was met with difficulty and stubbornness from the healthcare professionals. Sonya tells the story of Hoyt, in this CHD Bus Stories interview.
