The Morris boys’ mother, Rachel, had a gut feeling that the immunizations she was expected to give her 1st son, Owen, were “too much.” Nonetheless, she went through with it: “I hesitantly vaccinated and tried to space some [vaccines] out.” She expressed her concerns about ‘catch-up’ shots at the little boy’s 6-month checkup, but the pediatrician assured her they would be safe. Trusting the doctor’s word rather than her intuition, Rachel allowed her son to be injected with “8 vaccines in 1 visit.” What happened to Owen?
